Meet the Team

Robert Bagnall

Owner Robert Bagnall loves riding bikes: has since he was a kid and his bicycle was his first taste of freedom to get out of a small New Hampshire town. He founded Maverick Bikes & Cafe to share that love with everyone he can, seeking to make a life on two wheels safer, easier, and more fun for us all. He is in the shop most Saturdays when he is not out riding one of his many road bikes.

Dawn Graham

Shop Manager Dawn Graham started her career in the bicycle industry with the original owners of Bicycle Outfitters Craig and John Dubois in 1989. The Dubois ran a tight ship and Graham learned the ropes from expert industry insiders. Now with Maverick Bikes & Cafe, Graham is a walking encyclopedia of industry knowledge and is the heart and soul of day-to-day operations. She can do it all from wrenching, building, buying, selling and advisor on all disciplines of cycling and bike specific training. As a rider she has excelled in the dirt and truly loves her time on two wheels. Racing mountain bikes is where it all began and she even raced at the National level for mountain bikes but cyclocross was to be her calling in bicycle racing. A perennial podium finisher in USAC cyclocross events and also the Sportif Championship winner. She can be found most days in the back keeping the books tight and the shelves full.

Ryan Hudson

Ryan Hudson is our new salesmen and service writer. He is a wonderful resource for all things cycling and really knows the bicycle lines being sold at Maverick. Ryan is a graduate of Tuscarora High School here in Leesburg and will be attending college this coming spring. Ryan is a dedicated roadie but enjoys all forms of cycling and plans on hitting Loudoun’s gravel at some point.

Jack Mount

Jack Mount, a retired sales VP for RR Donnelley and is our lead sales associate. Jack’s knowledge of bicycles from kids bikes to top level road race machines is unmatched and his kind heart and light touch with kids brings him a large following. Jack is a lifelong cyclist and is our best employee when it comes to top flight customer care. Jack has been with us for 8 years and loves road cycling and gravel riding.

Lisa Campbell

Lisa Campbell, years ago, realized she had to get off the couch. In 2005, she started cycling by herself and then joined the shops Tuesday night rides and found out group rides are a lot of fun. After retiring as a librarian she started leading shop rides in 2016. In March 2018, Lisa was certified as a bicycle safety instructor with League of American Bicyclist and also is co-president of Bike Loudoun which is sponsored by Maverick Bikes & Cafe. She has taught safety classes for Loudoun County Commuter Services and Loudoun County Libraries. Lisa continues to do her group rides though her “Greater Loudoun Bicycling Meetup” page.

Stop in and meet the old racer, he is a wealth of knowledge in all areas of cycling from training to fit to selecting the right ride for the job at hand and all with that big friendly smile.

Elizabeth Brim

Elizabeth Brim, a graduate student in D.C., grew up spending weekends tagging along on rolling country roads in Southern Indiana with avid cyclist parents. She fell in love with cycling several years ago when sidelined by a running injury, and has continued to enjoy riding as a welcome escape. Though mainly a road cyclist, since moving to Virginia, she has enjoyed exploring Loudoun County’s gravel roads. Elizabeth will be working at Maverick Bikes & Cafe mainly in sales part time.
